Don't wear a Mimi skirt. Wear a skirt to your knees and look professional. Hair back from your face. Also nice blouse and jacket. Best of luck with the Interview.

Dress just a little nicer than you would when actually doing the job. A nice pair of pants and blouse will be fine - no need for a business suit. Avoid anything that's flashy - no big jewelry, bright lipgloss or colorful eye shadow. Avoid perfume and scented body products. You want the interviewer to remember you, not your accessories.
Best of luck!

Wearing a dark suit or a dress shirt with a dark dressy pants/skirt would be a good choice. Whether you are applying for a corporate or a retail position, the first impression definitely makes a huge impact. Therefore, dressing classy & professional is always the best.

Go Conservative, wear a pair of dress pants sensible shoes and on top try for a dress shirt and a jacket if you have it. They don't want floozy nor do they want a fancy cashier. Just look professional and be prepared to get the job. GOOD LUCK.

Ah, the first job interview jitters. I remember them well. A nice light blue blouse with a nice darker blue or black below the knees skirt. Slacks for women, not Capri's, will also do nicely. Matching low-medium heel pumps, not high heels, really do a good impression. I'd also recommend pulling your hair back if it's long to appear more ready to go for the job. For men, long sleeve white button shirt, nice tie(yes, areal tie on tie) dark Grey-black freshly ironed slacks and freshly polished black shoes. NO boots!

Whatever you wear make sure it's clean, pressed, and not ripped or stained. Go for nice slacks and a top that's not too revealing. You don't need to wear office attire because that's not the type of job you are going for. You're going for a job - not a date.

Do you have any khaki pants? Or some dorking looking slacks or a skirt that goes to or past your knees.? A nice, not too revealing top? Flats for some shoes with a very short heel.
