I used Proactiv twice every day (morning and evening) I stopped using it because my face had gotten much better and my sister needed to use it. My new shipment came and i'm using it again (its only been a couple of weeks) and my i'm breaking out all over my face, even on my neck! What do i do?

You probably are over using the product. Try using it just once a day. You also could be having some kind of hormone flux (like when you have your period). The last thing is that maybe you are getting all the oil and guk that were in your pores after you stopped using it to come back to the surface.

Use it for a couple of weeks more, but only once a day. That should help. Drink lots more water too and don't eat greasy food.

Hope this helps!

Sometimes your skin can become resistant to a product if there is a break in treatment before it is completely healed. I would suggest using a mild, non-soap cleanser, use make up only when you have too and drink more water. If you skin does not show improvement within 2 weeks go to a doctor.

I don't know the active ingredient in Proactiv. I have never used that product. I have used DDO products on and off for a few years and they have always worked for me.

Also, how is your diet? Have you changed it recently? It's the holidays, are you eating more sweets? I know my skin reacts when I eat too much junk or drink too much soda.

Well it doesn't sound like an allergic reaction because if that was the case then you would have been breaking out when you first started using it. Maybe your breaking out because of something you ate or used on your face such as lotion etc... I would call the number that they have available and talk to someone that can help you. I'm very sure they have a "Help" number of some sort for emergencies like this. They would be able to ask you more detailed questions and help you from there. Stop using the product for now until you find out what's going on. Good luck!

You can either go to a dermatologist to see if there is anyhting they can do for you. If not keep using proactive until your acne goes away. Dont do anything drastic to your skin becasue it might make it worst.

you should try to use smaller amount or use it less frequently. As the days or weeks pass, use a little more than before.
