i think this year, peyton shouldn't be blamed...instead, blame the defense. indy wouldn't even be in the playoffs if it wasn't for peyton having to make comebacks and everything just to pull out slim wins all season. i mean, his defense puts a lot of pressure on him to be perfect...and even he can't do that all the time. so will we agree that this year, the blame should go somewhere else?

Peyton should never ever be blamed. It will be the run defense this year that will be their downfall.

I don't agree. Peyton never should have been blamed in the first place. His play even if not great in the playoffs, is what is getting them the shot to even play in the playoffs. instead of being 10-3 right now without manning they would probably be 5-8. The defense has been bad every year, this year the offense just happened to get worse. Argue or not i know Edgerrin James was the game changer for them. Even if Addai puts up similar numbers he has no fear factor to the defense like Edgerrin. I believe they will play good in the playoffs, their game vs the patriots showed me how well they can play.

Peyton shouldn't be blamed for any of thier playoff woes. The defense on that team has been among the worst for years. A team ranked last in rush defense will not make it to the Super Bowl.

Manning shouldn't shoulder all the blame (QB is a tough position) but then he needs to relax and play his best. I think Tony is the guy to blame he can't get the defense going or inspire his team to the Superbowl. (sorry Tony)

It never has been just Peyton's fault. It takes a team to win and Peyton is not the whole team.

My only problem with that is that he is a major part of playoff losses! Sorry to say it Manning fans but its true. He is a great QB and I KNOW he is a big reason why they have great regular seasons, but he is horrible in playoffs. He can't handle pressure is not accurate and cant move quickly. Sorry....

Yeah, I agree. Let's face it, Tony Dungy can't make it to the Super Bowl. Peyton hasn't had a coach yet that could.

Unfortunately i had to show my loving colts fan friend this one as well. Yes Manning can lead through the season but the playoffs, no. #3 choker and after his career #1 http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/6230694

I would place the blame squarely on the fact that the entire Colts team is a bunch of frauds.
