FYI- No, I am NOT a molester. I am just finding out if someone who would justify one sexual tendency with genes would justify molestation by blaming it on genes as well? If not, then why is it applicable in homosexuality? If a homosexual says he can't help it because of his genes, what does he say to a child molester?

No one really knows if you are "born" gay. At least theres insufficient evidence to support it. I have gay friends who feel they were born that way and others who say they just chose the lifestyle because it was more exciting, etc.
There were some interesting statements above. With regard to animals, there are animals who rape, unnaturally have sex, and who have sex and abuse younger animals of the same species. There's also been animals having sex across species, in an unnatural way. Most importantly, I don't believe you can compare animals to humans, because we are not at all the same.
I honestly don't think you're born a child molester, but who knows, just like being born gay. Maybe you can be attracted to children, just like being attracted to the same sex. There are people who feel they have always been that way or were born that way.
I think we need to withhold judgment until we better understand what is going on. We shouldn't judge others as human beings, but if you disagree with a certain behavior all power to you, you have ever right to do so. It shouldn't change the fact you should reach out, be humane and respect everyone.

A child molester has a mental illness. Are they born with it? Perhaps born with the tendency to become one. But there are certainly environmental factors that bring it out as well as general mental illness.
Homosexuality is something you're born as just like heterosexuality is. It's just part of who you are, not something you can choose to do or not to do like being a child molester is. Even if you're gay and choose to live straight, you are still gay. If you have tendencies to molest children and you don't you are not automatically a child molester. You have made a choice.

most all child molesters that's in jail or have been in jail for molesting. were molested as children.fact.child molesters should be put to death if it is truly proven that they did it.and hurt the child in a terrible way. my little girl once lied about a neighbor feeling her up. for some reason. I whipped her. it was the first and only time I hit her.when you molest a child it ingrains that sex thing into there heads.people should be severly punished for doing this to a small child. its horrible. I was molested as a child of seven.and it took many years to finnaly get it out of my head.most people who or gay were lead to be that way. but I am sure some were born that way. God loves us all.we must not allow anything to stand between us and the holy Spirit of God.

It's interesting that you deny being a child molester but not being gay.
When you look at nature, many animals exhibit homosexual behavior. However, I do not see child molesters in the animal kingdom. That tells me that homosexuality is natural while child molestation is not.
People often lump them together although they are very different. One involved the relationship between two consenting adults and the other involves a minor who is unable to give consent. There's a big difference.

You can be born with a disposition to be attracted to your same sex. You could still choose not to act on it, but you'd still be gay. Therefore you can be born gay.
YOu can not be born a child molester because molesting is an action. You can have a disposition to be attracted to children, but you don't become a molester until you choose to act. It's not illegal to be attracted to children, only illegal to actually molest them.
Though, personally, I think child molesters are "grown" over time by suppressing their sexual desires either through unnatural vows of celibacy, dysfunctional family/religious teachings or other repressive policies. Just a hunch...

From what I understand , Child Molesters are all about power and control not really sex . I do believe it is mental illness that pushes them . Wouldn't you think they would have to be sick ?
