You're asking about a whole culture of people...that cannot be truthfully answered. That's like saying are all men bad? Or all women smelly?
This is a question that should be rephrased so it can be answered. I think it would be just a tad bit racist if someone answered saying they ALL are bad. You can't judge a whole race on something one or two people have done.

Eveyone's different, so nobody can speak for everyone of a certain race, culture or group. But most of the Indian people I've met seemed very nice and friendly.

We get most of our stereotypes of races of Native Americans (indians) from the old movies, tv shows, and books (novels) like Louis L'Amour, John Wayne, etc. Most of them came across either of two main ways, #1, they were depicted as mean, lazy, thieves and killers. #2. they were depicted as being "notional" (unpredictable), that is, one of you best friends, (Tonto), or your worst enemy, depending upon how you got acquainted with them. Neither is correct. They were always just people who try to get along with others, but are looking out for themselves, like everyone else. The settlers and government agents NEVER kept a treaty with them that I know of. THEY never broke a treaty that I know of, but maybe I'm wrong on this. :- )

they are people. shouldn't clump a bunch of people together and brand them under a few adjectives.
besides, theres more than one group of indians out there

they are like any other group of people
you are going to find some that are nice and others that aren't
but you can't make a blanket statement that they are all one why or another
