Hi, there is alot of better things you can do with your money instead of spending it on antispyware program when there are excellent free program that I use for many years.
http://www.grisoft.com Download their free AVG antispyware version. Scans all 281,000 objects in my sytem. You only have to update on a manual basis daily. Uses little or no resources.
http://www.superantispyware.com Download their free version. Excellent free antispyware that usually will catch what all other miss. Scans all 281,000 objects in my system.
http://www.emsisoft.com Download their A2Squared Malware free version. This company is out of Austria. Has excellent protection, from rogue dialers, hijackers, spyware, malware. Very much like the AVG program, only protects against more malware. Scans all 281,000 objects in my system.
http://www.lavasoft.com This company is out of Sweden and has been around long before anybody ever thought of spyware. Download their free home for personal use, Ad-adware Se Personal. Scans only areas where spyware is found and finds also what other miss.
http://www.ccleaner.com Download this free cleaner. Comes in all languages with frequent free updates on new versions. Excellent. Has defaults that you can keep or change. (I also use this program).
(The problem with programs like "Max Secure Spyware Detector and "Registry Cleaner", these programs are unknown or new and the odds are they are rogue programs that have hidden embedded spyware or trojans in the software or installed by the wizard installer used to guide you through the installation. (You only want to go with well known free program. I use all the one above that I have given you in my own compters.
I JUST TRACED THIS PROGRAM AN IT HIDES BEHIND A PROXY OUT OF PHOENIX, ARIZONA. SO FOR SURE YOU DON'T WANT TO TRUST THIS SITE. PLUS THEIR WEBPAGE AS THE USUAL LOOKS OF A ROGUE SITE.
So they are 100% safe and free of any embedded malware.

I use Norton Internet Security and some freebies like Spybot. I have Spy Sweeper for Windows, free from MS which is pretty good. I have tried lots of things like Registry Cleaner and on the whole they are a waste of resources.

Be careful about downloading antispyware stuff on the internet. It is better to just go to your computer store. Also use firefox instead of explorer. It is relatively new and bug-free.

Don't bother. It's either (a)spyware/virus or (b)inefficient compared to other programs.
A good one is AdAware. See http://www.lavasoft.de/ for downloads. It works very well, as long as you scan every week or so.

It's best to go somewhere like C net and find out the ratings of each program before you decide.
Personally I use spysweeper and spybot. Spybot is free.
