The Lions are 23-70 with him as GM, yet the Ford family won't fire him. Why? The fans(if any are left) want him gone. Poor coaching hires and drafting players who turn out to be busts. I think he should be a man and resign at season's end and save us the misery of putting up with this crap for another season. I hope the walkout that is planned gets the message across.

If you are a Lions fan, I completely see where you are coming from. I never was impressed with this guy as a announcer and felt he was poorly qualified for a executive football role - it clearly shows.

Matt is just another Ford product. He has a job there as long as he wants, till death do they part. I remember a Bill Ford bodygard that was promoted to Lions general manager in the late fifties named Russ Thomas and he retired recently by dieing. However Ford brought in another yes man right behind him. Ford loves this DICK that's why he gave him a new 5 year contract last year. That's why Barry left, that's why the Lions have never and will never win a superbowl, that's why the Lions SUCK.

When Bill Ford dies they will give the team to another member of the family who isn't smart enough to make it in the auto business.

Hummmm straight "D"s, whell son I see a bright future for you in the NFL

Actually, I have seen reports and heard rumors that he is gone after this season. It is not widely spread yet. I went to a game, 1 of the 2 they actually won (against Atlanta) and it was a great game. I went for the atmosphere because I knew they were going to lose, but they didn't. They need to fire the owner, fire the Manager, fire the players and start over...maybe a Lansing team. The Lansing Engines...LOL

Probably literally everyone has "had it" with this joker; expect his boss, who is the owner of the Lions. Frankly, as long as so many guilable fans continue to attend their games he'll be there for another year or two? Like our owners here in Arizona (Bidwills) they'll never invest the big bucks to truly build a consistent winning Franchise! :+(

Even as a Giants fan I have had enough of him. I also think he is a good analyst so I would like to see him back on TV. Saying that if he has any pride he will jump before he is pushed. He must even realise that he is not cut out to be a evaluater of talent in the NFL.
