20 minutes per pound@325 degrees. Cover the breast with foil about half way through cooking.Use a meat thermometer if you have one. If not the bird in done when the drumstick separates easily from the thigh. The juices should be running clear,not pink or red. I prefer cooking the stuffing separately. The turkey cooks more quickly and its safer. The stuffing is frequently undercooked in a stuffed bird.If you do cook the turkey stuffed you have to add extra time for it. Happy Thanksgiving. 325 is better and don't cover the turkey too tightly.
