British rock bands? Geez, I could easily list 40 of them off the top of my head. But you want ones where I think the accent really seems to really come through? Hmm. I'd say: The Cure, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, T. Rex, Mott the Hoople, David Bowie, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Pink Floyd. Again I could randomly list dozens more from the UK, but off the top of my head those bands have songs I can think of where the accent really comes through.

Not sure what you mean but if you are talking about groups that sing in a British accent may I suggest

Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Thin Lizzy

could suggest bands from the West Midlands but production nullifies their accents

Smiths! Smiths! Smiths!
Morrisey
David Grey

Also, I've recently heard this new song by a chick named Corinne Bailey Rae. I couldn't help but notice what an awesome voice she has, and how much her British accent flows with it.
