I've had sprint since i believe '98 or '99. In the beginning, it was somewhat questionable, but at this time, I have no complaints. I pay $38 a month for unlimited texting, internet, weekends/evenings (after 7 p.m.), sprint to sprint (or nextel), unlimited picture pack, 300 anytime minutes, etc. And free NFL mobile. I have no intention whatsoever of switching anytime in the near future. And of the popular phone models, they do have Treos, Blackberries and Razrs.

I have sprint service right now and have never had a problem. Their plans are cheaper than verizon, and their nights start at 7pm, and their phones are not bad (Check out Sanyo 8400, top quality phone!) It really depends what's best in your area. Most carriers offer a trial period, you could get sprint and try it (if you don't like it you can return it within 30 days for no de-activation fees, you only pay for what you use). I think verizon has a 15 day return policy.

It really depends on the area... yahoo tech recently rated sprint as having the largest network in the US, just narrowly beating Verizon. Cingular is great in many areas......but here in the midwest they are....spotty...to say the least. Try going to sprint.com and checking the coverage map for your zip code, as brochure maps that you check out at stores or kiosks will be out of date . But the big 3 (sprint, verizon, cingular) should be able to either provide you with what you're looking for, if sprint isnt able to.

sprint is interior the right 3 cellular telephone service carriers alongside with at&t and Verizon. I had sprint some years back, had super sign interior the metropolitan areas, yet went into roaming in rural areas. i've got heard they have better. Verizon is customary for consistently having service yet they are much extra high priced. i could say sprint is analogous to at&t. in basic terms be careful the 1st few months on any new contract, they % to objective to tack on different valuable properties you probably did no longer verify in for. sturdy success.

Consumer Reports just came out with their new reviews, and they basically ranked the service providers as:

1. Verizon
2. Alltel
3. T-Mobile
4. Cingular
5. Sprint

They didn't like Sprint at all.

I've had Sprint/Nextel for 4 years now and have never had a problem with it. It depends on where you live though, Spring covers larger cities very well, if you are in a rural area I would probably go with something else.

My friend has Sprint and she cannot stand it. For some reason she can get reception out on the refuge, but not always in her own house. The phone she got from them (to keeps things pretty) is not worth anyone's time. Yep that about covers it.

Check your coverage area and where you will spend most of your time. Sprint has holes in their coverage if you are outside major metropolitan areas. If you are in a major metropolitan area, don't worry. Sprint is just as good as the next one.

It works well for me. I live in a city environment and often travel to various major cities throughout the US. In the major cities, you won't have any problems. If you leave the major cities for the more rural areas, you may get intermittent service.

I have friends that have sprint service and they constantly complain about coverage plans and service. I agree Cingular is better.
