Yes male seahorses give birth to their youngs not the females.

The females only inserting her eggs in the males' pouches. And the eggs will be fertilize and hatch in the males' pouches.

By the way, the term "women and men" only apply to Humans. we don't use "women and men" to describe animals, we use "female and males".

Note: in this case the eggs of female seahorses are not fertilized until they get into the pouches of the male seashorses. It's just like in human, man insert his perm into a female uterus to fertilize an egg. So techniquely it's the male seahorses that get pregnant and give birth, not the females.

The male seahorses carry the children so I guess it is true that they birth them, but they get the eggs from female seahorses.

Seahorses are ovoviviparous (fertilized eggs are kept in the reproductive tract until they hatch). The female seahorse lays the eggs and transfers the fertilized eggs to a pouch of the male seahorse. The male carries the eggs until they hatch. Very interesting stuff, I think! :)

No. That would just mean the male seahorse IS the female seahorse. The female seahorse has the baby and then the male searhorse raises it.
