Make a CD of "your songs" with your friends. Gather some songs that you all love and enjoy hearing together, or songs that bring back memories. If you want them to be unique, make them all different.

I think the most meaningful gifts are framed photos. My little brother did not have a lot of money for my birthday one year, so he went out to my Grandpa's farm and took some close up photos of the corn fields, flowers, and an antique gas pump that were out there. He turned them into black and white photos and framed them in black frames. They were all three the same size and they are hanging in my kitchen by the door. I have had so many compliments on them. He has also done this with photos of my dog too. I am excited because there is a huge present for me under the Christmas tree this year from him and it looks like a frame:) I cannot wait to see what it is! These gifts were personal and beautiful.

A good rule for gift-giving would be to get something that they might want, but think is not worth spending money on, or Things people don't really need, but really want. Examples: One of those 5 blade razors (which are marketed towards guys), or some slightly overpriced (but affordable as a gift) accessory or make-up. You could also try a robe, a nice set of silk pajamas, some nice bed sheets, slippers, gloves, etc.

Giving them all the same type of gift will be good! that way no one feels jealous. How about a group photo framed picture of all of you. Just make the copies either at work or kinkos....should'nt be that much anyways....and if you don't have alot of money to spend on a a fancy frame....go to your local hobby store and buy some plain ones and decorate them yourself.Which is probably better because you can personalize each one.

Craft stores are my favorites!!! You can make them something really cool and sweet, and it can be cherished because you made it for them. or bake them cookies or some cupcakes or even brownies and wrap them up in colorful cellophane or a cute lil basket from the craft store (inexpensive). A gift made form the heart, no matter how cheap always meant more to me than an expensive gift (wink...sometimes...lol)
But I'm sure your friends will appreciate the effort.

My experiance tells me to purchase an attractive but inexpensive tin at the $1 store. Then get one pound of dark chocolate, one of milk, and one of white, a small bag of pecans, brown sugar and butter. Heat up a couple of table spoons of butter until melted add a tablespoon of brown sugar and pecans and simmer for a couple of minutes then remove from heat, drain and place nuts on a baking sheet. Over gentle heat melt the three chocolates in seperate bowls mixing 2 table spoons of butter, this will make a nice sheen to the chocolate. When they are melted together nicely, take the dark chocolate and and randomly place it on about 1/3 of the baking sheet over the pecans. Do the same with milk chocolate, then followed with the white chocolate. This should give it a swirling, mixed chocolate look. Set it in the fridge with no heat for about 15 minutes to cool. Afterwards take a heavy spoon or a clean mallet and break it up with blunt force. Take some decorative tissue, put in tin, and place the candy bark in tin and place a bow on it. It should cost you about $15 bucks, but you will have enough for four tins. have fun.

If any of them like reading or coffee, you're set. Paperback novels and books are usually under $10, and the sale racks out front have some great coffee table books often for under $5
Or, you can get them a coffee mug with something printed on it, and filled with candy or chocolates.

If you know what each friend likes, you can get a book on it..for example, if one friend likes astrology, get a book on signs. Or you can get them T-shirts with a saying on it, you know you can pretty much find those anywhere, for example, I have a T-shirt that says Fiesty..and I am. There are alot of inexpenisive gifts you can get friends.

if you're looking to spend like no more than $5 per person, I'd say go to Wal mart, kmart, or target and get everyone a pair of really cute house socks with pretty bright colors. for a couple dollars more, get slippers

Hand sew or knit little throw pillows or blankets. They're thoughtful, pretty, and really easy to make with just a needle, thread, some fabric, and a basic pattern.
