if you were a fish, would the ocean be never ending, it might take you a long time to reach the shore, but never the less its there. Perhaps there is an end, perhaps we are all trapped in a bubble, in the middle of an ocean........people use the word infinite....but that is a concept too huge to grasp. I prefer to think of the bubble, or the ocean.

ive studied astronomy since i was 5 yrs old and im 13 and my opinion is it never stops. it just goes forver waiting to be explored by new ppl. You know how they say lots of solar syatems go in a galaxy and lots of galaxies go in A universe. I believe there r lots of universes that go in something else and so on. i believe time gravity and space nver will end, even if mankind does. afterall we proved a long time ago that we're not the ceneter of the universe didnt we? its a mind bender for me too but its like the question "wat is the meaning of life" no1 will ever know for sure. hope it helps :D

if you think about it space never ends, imagine yourself trap in a box, and you thought that was the only existence it isn't, because you can do a hole and get out, nothing ends, because even thought it made had a wall you can pass the wall and continue just like numbers they are infinite they just dint got and end!!!!!!!!

After many sleepless nights I have come to the conclusion that the universe (space as we know it) is one giant sphere. Everything else in this material world has an end, so why wouldn't space. What lies outside the sphere is the real question, most likely God though.

There's got to be some sort of corrollary. What if it's like a drop of water that lands on a piece of glass it spreads out a bit for a while and covers a lot of the area. What if space that we know is sort of like that drop of water on a piece of glass, and there's some other drops of water on that same glass?

Your right it is mind bending, I have to say I think it goes on for eternity and beyond, though I'll keep an open mind on it.

space is alot bigger than any of us can possibly think, theres probably a fence at the edge of the universe saying "end of the universe, london heathrow, turn left"

but seriously there is an end but its a long long long time before anybody encounters that, theres only so far we can see with the technology we have nowadays

i belive that it does go on and on, because no one can prove that it doesn't or that it does. Our technology does not have the capabilities for that kind of research. So to think about this qustion for more then 5 mins is useless. You will just frustrate urself.

Maybe there is an end and its like a wall of gravity that pushes you away and it doesn't let you get passed it?

I wonder the same thing, it is so mind boggling. I would be so cool to be able to fly like Superman and just go out there and explore.
