How many computers can I connect to a wireless router?

you can have up to 255 devices on a network. the router is one. granted if you put that many on the network its going to be horribly slow, but IP addresses can have up to that many before needed a new IP address scheme.

Realistically not sure I'd go over 10 with a regular wireless router.

It depends on which Router you buy, you can always buy extensions so you can have a network of computers if you like, like in a school or office or library.
