I have this gym teacher.I'm quiet and not very athletic,so at first he started paying that special attention to the lame duck. Then, he started teasing me.then It became poking fun at me.He would tell me I was too much of a girl, r would announce to the class that i was a loser or something like that. Then, sometime in October, he started getting physical.I don't mean sexually, but he'd show up out of nowhere and shove me, or he'd hit me with rolled up papers for no apparant reason. Then he started "joking" with me about whipping my butt with a broomball stick, or a fencing foil.I didn't find it funny. Now, every time I see him, he is rude, but appears to be having fun with me, making jokes like we were best friends or something. This morning, a teacher sent me to his office to get something, and he just randomly started punching me on the arm really hard!I said to stop and that it hurt, but he didn't listen, I pulled away, he gave me the note, and I left. Is this wrong? What's going on?

I strongly suggest you tell your parents about what is happening, this is harassment, physical and psychological abuse. I think then that the Police should be informed as this is a criminal offence and the Teacher is abusing their position, very much so. Please, dont be scared of contacting the Police, this is what they are there for, to stop crime which this is. I have been to India on many occasions and have found the Police to be honest decent, dedicated people. You have no reason to be scared, you are the victim and by doing this, you will be protecting others from the same abuse. If this person knows they can get away with it, they will do it more to you and others. Please, start talking NOW

this is very wrong. first of all, a teacher shouldnt be touching his students, even if its not with his hands. Also, if a student says to stop, the teacher MUST stop. You need to have a parent call the school or go to speak with the principle or guidance counselor. This should definatly be stopped.

Report him, he should not touch you, talk to the Principal, he can loose the job. Talk to the police. If principal does not do anything.
You may show this to him, a copy and tell him to be nice. That would be his last chance. Talk to your parents.

In USA it is a criminal behaviour.

tell your parents and they should go to the principal, superintdent, school board, lawyer, anyone that will listen to get this stopped. it is not right and not your fault. he needs to be stopped before he really hurts you and being humiliated infront of everyone is never fun

This is absolutely not good. You should take it seriously. Get rid of that rogue either. Or report it to your boyfriend / husband /parent / police or whichever authority you know.

Do you have any doubt that it is wrong? Tell your parents immediately. Let them take up the matter with the school principal.

It is no longer "normal" . Tell hi frankly that what he is doing is hurting you. If he does not pay attention then tell these to someone in authority or your parents.
