if you have a blood test other than for pregnancy, it would still show up whether or not they are looking for it. the levels in your blood change so it would be noticable.

If you don't have a blood test specifically for pregnancy, however if you have a blood test to check your hormone levels - then yes the pregnancy would show up due to the change in the hcg levels.
This is how my first pregnancy was confirmed - they were testing my thyroid and hormone levels and the pregnancy was found this way.

For blood it would not remember. The hormone is going to stay at a rather consistent element in the course of the day...even with the very undeniable truth that it's going to upward push quickly as being pregnant progresses. you're deliberating urine. Urine is more desirable targeted in the morning once you've only waken up so it may theoretically be a more desirable ideal specimen for a being pregnant try. although, the hormone it truly is examined for is readily eliminated into the urine so at any given time blood or urine will produce a similar result.

A urine test can detect pregnancy, too. As far as I know, the blood test won't show the HCG unless they are specifically looking for it.

A blood test will only show what it is they are looking for. No it is not necessary to take a blood test for pregnancy, however if you are pregnant your obstetrician may want you to be tested to make sure you are healthy.

It all depends on what test your DR. orders. I would recommend a blood Preg test because a few months ago, I took several HPT's and they were pos. but my blood said otherwise, Turns out that the test brand was bad. . . According to the test, DH was knocked up too. . . hmmmm

I'm not sure but if you are preggers than you get your blood checked anyway so kill two birds with one stone. Blood types should be remembered like SSN.

He may check other levels, such as your blood count, iron level, glucose, just routine things like that. You will have to have routine bloodwork while you are pregnant as well (if you are)
Did I understand your question right?

a blood test only checks one specific thing, you'd need a seperate one for pregnanct, but you can get them done at the same time.
