why do men love skinny woman and not fat woman, and i am not talking about woman who are like 400lb i am talking about woman who are 180-250. we are not skinny let we are not that huge, why do men only think skinny is sexy?

honey not all guys love skinny women. My fiancee love big woman, he actually thinks that most skinny woman are ugly. he just like the "fluffier" girls, says that that is just what he is attracted to. so i am one lucky girl. he loves me for me and that mean all of me, every plump, curvy inch. and there are tons of guys out there that love bigger woman, you just have to carry yourself with confidence and have a positive attitude, because most guys find that sexier than what you jean size is. don't worry about your size, just take care of yourself and love yourself and others will too

There are plenty of men that LOVE bigger women! I just think that men don't really know what they are missing when they pass the larger women over for some bones!!!!!! Just keep looking and the right goy will come along and think that you are the most beautiful woman in the world.

You know, I've lost about 40 lbs since my husband and I started dating, and ironically, he (and I) want me to gain at least some of it back. I used to be a big C or D cup, for instance, and now I'm about a B or a small C, and I also used to have a butt...*I miss it*
So my husband, at least, is not one of those men who only likes super-skinny women...I can't speak for other men though--although I have known very shallow men (boys) who refuse to consder dating a woman if she weighs more than a certain amount, etc. Those men aren't worth pursuing though anyways...

I think we are attracted to what seems biologically healthy to us. Historically, plumper women were more attractive because they had a little extra padding to survive on in the event of famine.
Today thinner, fitter women seem more attractive to a lot of men because they represent what is viewed as most likely to survive. I believe it has a lot to do with the instinctual survival of the gene pool.
I think its true for men too--stronger, taller, fitter men are generally more attractive than scrawny and fat men because they are subconsciously viewed as more fit for survival in these times.
I will say though, that in the range you specified, there are a lot of men who are very happy with such a woman--I am one of them as my wife, mother, and sister all fall into this category. I think its hard, with all the brainwashing in TV and magazines that make the situation even worse by portraying a distorted view of whats desirable (and healthy) while I'm sure 1/2 of them are hurting themselves with eating disorders that allow them to look the way they do.

Part of it is biology. When choosing a partner, men are more attracted to "healthy-looking" women, as subconsciously, they see them as potential bearers of their children. Since to be an overweight woman is seen as "unhealthy", men shy away from them. I think you'll find that not all men are attracted to stick women, and that most actually prefer a little meat on their bones. Real men LOVE curves on a woman!

You just haven't found the right guy who appreciates middle size women. Majority of guys out there are jerks so don't worry about why they don't like 180-250 lb.

In the 21st century there are so many stereotypes. Men watch tv and movies and see all the airbrushed women, and they think that is sexy. they dont realize no one really looks like that. however there are plenty of men out there who like girls who maybe have a little more fat on them, maybe a little more voluptuous and figured.

Because that is what men are brainwashed into seeing---go buy Maxin, Playboy or heck- any magazine and there you have it...a skin and bones women...Curves are sexy and what we are born with. There are beautiful women of all sizes...I just think we need to explore both sides more. Real women come in all sizes, shapes--just wished magazines realized this!

Here's the truth.. sorry to say. It's not that men don't like big girls.. they just don't want to settle down with a big girl.. here's why: Most girls who are already larger then they should be, tend to continue to gain weight throughout their life. Men don't want to get stuck with a women who doesn't take car of herself. Plus if a larger women has a baby.. she's going to pack on even more pounds... not to say a skinny girl won't. One of my friends use to be tiny.. now she's , well really big.
But who gives a ****! You'll find some guy who'll love you for being who you are. But please watch your weight.. it's very dangerous to be over weight.. bad for your health.

I'm sure there are guys out there that love all types of women no matter what size they are. Just because you've had bad experiences in the past with men it doesn't mean they are all that way!
