My best friend is 22 years old and she is dating this "granddaddy" that is 44 years old and she seems to be happy. I think it's going a little to far when she WANTS to have his child. I tell her she needs to think about her future and if this is the right man she wants to be with. She says she is not looking to the future she is looking at whats going on presently. Any advice on what I should say to her or what I should do???

back up and leave her alone that older man maybe just what she needs dont be no hater and get in her way she doesnt seem like a dumb girl she went out and got herself a man and not a little boy and a guy her age is just that he aint grown yet just be her friend and stay out their relationship. If you think about it you might need to ask him for a friend.

Well she does need to look at the future and eventually she will realize that.I'm 21 and the oldest guy I dated is 42.My boyfriend of 4 years now is 37.If she's happy then there's nothing you can say to her.Me and my boyfriend is very happy together. And we do know that when I get older he may not be around. But as long as I do have him with me while he is still in this world then I couldn't ask for anything better than that. She just needs to find out on her own if this is the right guy for her.You don't want to loose your friend and if you try to step in you can possibly loose her.And also about the baby thing....That's up to them if they want to have kids together or not.

The 44 yr old needs to put his foot down. Its one thing to date a 22 yr old but having kids is different. She may be trying to trap him in something he's not ready for. Don't worry about protecting your friend, protect the "granddaddy".

It is a well known fact that love makes you do crazy things. Now I see nothing wrong with her wanting to have his baby.He can sign up for the P.T.A. and medicare at the same time. Now more serious,It would NOT be fare to bring a child into the world this late in his life.I was 46 when my last child was born.It was not fare to him.I was to old to play baseball football run with him and do the fun things a father and son are supposed to do.I no WE sure missed out on a lot.I hope this helps good luck.

You must always think about the future. She is going to fast with this man. Trying to have his baby and everything. That was me. She really need to think about this. She probably want listen to you because she thinks that she has everything figured out. She probably will change her mind about this guy. Older guys like that try to manipulate young ladys, turn us into old women before our time, control us. It is only so much you can do. **** let her read this. You can talk to her and help her but you can't make her. Tell her to talk to me I will twll her.

My father was 10 years older than my mother. They are still happily married. My boyfriends father is 17 years older than his mother... still happilly married. My boyfriend is 13 years older and treats me better than any man I have dated. The age is not the factor, it's the way they treat each other. Women mature faster than men do. That is a cold hard fact. Maybe, you are just upset that they have found a level of happiness that you are still in search of?

You should tell her to think about her future with this guy. If she can't see being long term with him then that's not good. She shouldn't have a kid with him until they get married if they do. She shouldn't just jump into things like that. How long has she been with him anyway?

This is your friends business, if she is happy leave her be. She is an adult and is old enough to make her own mistakes. Live and learn!

Do you think that she would be interested in a 66 year old gentleman who is built for comfort , not for speed.?
