To save your self from being overly proud..I always think to myself that there are people better off than me in life and there are peope worse off than me, but we all have the same value and are loved by God just the same.

This means you need to treat large and small in life with love and respect. - At least thats the attitude i try to take it can be hard to do it in reality.

To keep concentrating on your goal, the key is to enjoy the journey to your goal. Appreciate everyday that it takes to get there and enjoy it...then you will enjoy the journey to your goal and not feel so worn out.

Its good to learn to appreciate the small things in life..being thankful, grateful and appreciative for small things goes a long way to increasing your happiness.

The answer to both of your questions is:
through the daily practice of Mindfulness Meditation. 10 to 15 min. a day only.
It keeps you focused on your goals, keeps you motivated, improves one's memory and cognitive skills/thinking, produces patience, and many other benefits.
Do not buy books on this at first. Search on the internet, and download from many sites, free information teaching how to practice Mindfulness Meditation. Learning how to Mindfully Breath throughout the day, helps alot also.

Happy Holidays to You. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

If you are not living with integrity, your goals become hard to reach, you attract people that make you feel bad, and you lose your trust in yourself. If you feel you are out of touch with who you want to be and are breaking promises to yourself, use these three steps to restore your integrity!

Step One: Create an "Absolute Integrity List." Make three promises to yourself to restore your integrity.

Step Two: Create a personal vision statement that gives you clarity about your beliefs and will lead you to become the person you've always wanted to be.

Step Three: Identify where you are not being truthful in your life.

Your mission is not where you currently are, but where you want to be. Be sure to write all of these things down in the present tense—claim it! Hope this will provide you the answers to your questions.
