Does anyone know a good site to buy black yarn for crocheting? I'm trying to find some yarn to make my husband a scarf for christmas but am not very lucky at finding some decent priced yarn.

Every week, Michael's has a coupon in the paper for 40% off any one item. That's a good deal!!

Ebay. I've been getting great deals on mat blanks, close to 62 cents apiece (cut mats run like 3 bucks at Hobby Lobby and Garden Ridge). I'll bet there's a ton of yarn, too.

online? www.smileysyarns.com. Really good prices on mass-market yarns like Patons and Lion Brand, and no minimum order. I've used them in the past.

If you have a Hobby Lobby close by, take a look at their weekly coupon page for sales/specials.

I love the Carron yarns. they have a shiny sheen to them and are very soft and easy to work with. I buy them at walmart...and they definitely make BLACK!
