Jimi Hendrix is better. The dude is a legend. But don't get me wrong, I love Taking Back Sunday. They are one of my favorite bands

Seriously, even trying to compare two bands as different as Taking Back Sunday and Jimi Hendrix is ridiculous. Two different eras, two different styles of music. Try thinking your questions through better next time.
