Black Sabbath in a land slide. There lyrics and music are much more complex. Iron Maiden is a sideshow, they don't even come close where musical talent is concerned. AC/DC can create raw emotion with their songs and lyrics, but again Sabbath wins with more creativity and more talent.

Each one is a legend in their own right, but Iron Maiden is the only band still trying to make good original music these days. Iron Maiden helped to save Metal from Kiss and Alice Cooper type influences. I would have to go with Iron Maiden over the others. Oh and to answer the guy who says that Iron Maiden ripped off Metallica, he needs to buy a metal time line. He doesn't have a clue about what he is talking about.

Hands down.
Actually,
AC/DC is hard rock.
Black Sabbath is heavy metal.
Iron Maiden is heavy metal.
Out of the 2 metal bands, Blakc Sabbath is prolly better.

You can't compare the three...
Sabbath is what is termed Black Metal.
Iron Maiden and AC/DC are termed heavy metal.
All three are equally, just differently, talented.

I would have to go with the one that came first, Black Sabbath, who kinda set the way for all metal bands that came along after. AC/DC was good too (until Bon died) and I have never cared for Maiden - always thought they were a sad rip off of Metallica (who i think is the best metal band of today.)
But your question, definitely Sabbath. They were the first!

They all have their own strong points. Black Sabbath has great guitar riffs and hell of a showman in Ozzy. The grandfathers of real Heavy Metal.
ACDC has Angus Young. That is almost enough to put them on top. He has so much energy. I also heard that it is a band where the drummer never has to play a fill.
Iron Maiden ahhhh! Lots of energy, great lyrics, huge stage shows, and great guitar riffs.
If I absolutely have to rank them in order by preference:
1) Iron Maiden
2)Black Sabbath
3)ACDC
I love them all and its a tough choice.

Those bands suck and, BTW I've never even heard of Iron Maiden. How OLD are you? Those are the bands my Honners English teacher likes, he's like 54, 60?
