Definitely the civil war in The Sudan specifically the misery happening in and around Darfur. This has been an atrocious story, tens of thousands are dying and being raped every week and the UN has largely ignored the situation.
As it stand right now the US and UK are over committed in Afghanistan and Iraq so there is little they can do, but the UN and NATO should do something and send in a peacekeeping team.

Not one or two but plenty from Darfur to East Timor. From Afganistan to Iraq.
Or write more about human conflict with nature.
