Obviously not legitimate.

Ahmadinejad called for Israel to be wiped out to warm applause from all the "participants." The audience included people who are famous for their hate from all over the world.

I think that it would be possible to have a legitimate investigation into any unknowns regarding the holocaust. This is certainly not it. What happened at the holocaust was a horrific manifestation of evil in my opinion and it is being celebrated it seems in Iran.

But basically, Iran is holding a "hate the Jews" conference. Not a legitimate investigation. It is non objective.

Its a political ploy, cynical, vicious and vile. Like all fascist dictatorships, they think that if they say a lie enough times, people will start believing it. The president of Iran knows that being anti-Israel is a good way of gaining popularity with the Islamic fundamentalists in his country who are in power. He will do anything and say anything to maintain that popularity.
