You have to qualify for IFS..Indian Foreign Services through the UPSC's IAS selection process.

go for the civil services examination held by union public service commission each year in a 2 step prcess (prelims, finals and interview). According to your rank, and choice you can join IAS, ICS, IPS, IFS, PCS etc. etc.
you have to be a graduate in any stream. You can avail your choice 3 of subjects apart from GK which is compulsory

Qualify IAS preliminary as well as Main, conducted by UPSC Get in to merit and opt for Foreign Services. One is required to be a Graduate to appear to appear for IAS entrance conducted by UPSC.
