Certainly. The closer you are in orbit around the earth, the faster you go around. A 24 hour orbit is 22,400 miles above the Earth. The moon, at 238,000 miles away, takes about 28 days to go around the Earth.

The Space Shuttle typically parks in a 90 minute orbit. So, every 90 minutes it comes around the back of Earth and reveals the Sun, or sunrise. 45 minutes we go back around the Earth and it is sunset.
