i like both and maybe the ps3 better but the ps3 has less games and it is highr in price...the xbox has gears of war and f.e.a.r. and other cool games only 4 xbox 360...which should i get??????

If you are going to buy the xbox because it has better games, you would be making a mistake. In a years time i wouldn't be surprised if playstation has more games than xbox.
the fact of the matter is that the system is fresher than xbox and there is an adjstment period for the game developers. Thats also why it took a full year to release a game like gears of war for xbox.
As crazy as it sounds, in the long run the "overpriced" ps3 will be a better value than the xbox.
I also already installed Linux on to my ps3 and as soon as i can afford a wireless keyboard, my playstation will be doubling as a pc also.

If you're a true gamer then get both. If you want to buy the system that has the better selection of games out at the moment for a cheaper pricetag then go with the 360. If you want a cheap Blu-Ray disk player and great upside for future releases then go with the PS3. But honestly you should just wait until late Spring or Summer and hope that the PS3 drops a bit (unlikely because Sony is losing money even with the $600 pricetag).

i'd either get an xbox360 now or wait untill the ps3 is a year old. most of the bugs are worked out in the 360, but it will be a while for the ps3. i have a 360 and i love it. it has a lot of great games now. Mine does freeze after hours of continuesus play, but so do all consoles.If you get a 360 get the $399 verison, it comes with the hard drive( for saving games), a wireless controller( so awesome), all the wires for set up, HD, and live.

Neither! why waste your hard earned cash on it now when it will cost a few hundred less in a few years? I'd say that, if you do buy one, get the PS3. there are a lot more games it can play, including all the cool PS2 and PS1 games... hope that helped!

i don't think you will be able to even find a ps3 in a store. that is unless ur gonna get it from ebay. so i say buy a Xbox 360

ps3 will have a lot of games in time, and you can play ps2 and ps1 games on it as well.
Plus you get a blue ray player as well =)
