I dont understand it.... It seems like no matter what the Giants do, good or bad someone always has something bad to day. No one talks about Indianaplis getting killed by awful team. All they do is dog on the giants and their coach. Can anyone explain this to a die hard fan whos feelings are hurt :)

Well, as another die hard Giants fan, I hear ya! It seems like the only thing ppl talk about is the bad stuff about them and never the good! As for the answerer that said the Strahan and Shockey need to keep their mouths shut -- ,,I,, ........... they have every right to say what they need to say! Nobody says anything when other players run their mouths... Damn, T.O. is the worst shittalkin', drama queen around and he gets way less press on him than the Giants do. Shockey has every right to say w/e he says.... if you look at the games where he didn't get the ball and the games he did - the Giants did much better when he did. Strahan had every right to say what he said - reporters are the ones that need to shut their mouths if they don't want to hear what the players have to say.... if you don't want the truth .. don't ask the question!!!!!!!!!! = ) Reporters seem to only ask questions that they know the answers to or they think they know what the players will say, and as soon as one of them say something unexpected - it's all over! Yeah, the coach needs to suck it up and make some things happen and get the respect from his players - but to get respect you have to earn it and he hasn't -- and that's between him and the team and NObody else!
Alot of press is expected from being a team from New York, but geez -- give it a rest already! Go pick on a sucky team and leave ours alone! = )

First of all New York is a tough town to play in as the fans love you one day and hate you another. The other thing is there has been so much controversy within the organization it opens the doors to trash talkers. How can fans and especially opposing fans support the Giants when 3 of there leaders talk trash about there team, coach and teammates. If Shockey, Barber, and Strahan would quit talking trash and support there team maybe fans would follow?

If you can't handle the insults then you don't know football. Come on its called trash talk you don't do the Giants any service if you can't trash talk.

its because theyre the NY giants. its the same with the yanks and all the teams that represent this great state.
elis ratings are up with the other good ones but ppl only see the bad in him. he can have a great game, but one bad pass or something and he stinks. and then they drag the rest of the team into it and all of a sudden the whole team stinks
you gotta get used to it if youre gonna be a fan of a ny team. in your heart youll kno that it comes from jealousy.

I really don't know why people do this. The Giants have a great team. But like always a team makes mistakes... I think the Giants just overestimated thier chances and their opponents. But to be honest the Giants could have went to the Super Bowl. And if they keep winning who knows even the Mightyest teams can fall. *cough cough* Patriots.... I'm guessing that you live in New York. Its probably because your listening to the New York media. Believe me the national media dogs plenty of other teams.
Realistically it must be a result of Eli Manning not living up to expectations. The giants played just as well with Kerry Collins, what does that say about Eli?
P.S. I'm an eagles fans so I may be biased. Should be a good game this week.

By "everyone" you probably mean the New York media. They dog on every team in New York, from the Yankees to the Rangers to the Jets to the Knicks. No one knows why, but for some reason New York people just hate their own teams.

i think of the Giants win by ability of 10. i think of the Cowboys are having important subject concerns now. they have performed poor interior the final 4 video games. And now they are disenchanted with Romo in Mexico. And TO hasn't practiced this week.

Come on,most of the giant fans boo them.Eli throws a interception every one in NYC boo him.It would have been better for Eli if he were on another team.The Giants are a team that start blaming each other if they lose.The giants just don't seem to be able to say "It was my fault that we lost this game".They just start blaming their coach or their teammates.And who can blame them?it is NYC if you don't do good you get booed,to much pressure on them i would say.

I really dont know!!! Its awful isint it?? Its not fair to the team, the coach, or the fans!!
I mean they have been playing GREAT lately and people STILL say horrible things about Eli Manning (who is awesome) AND the team!!
I hope people come to their senses and QUIT picking on our giants!!! :)
