what are the pros and cons of being a social woker?whats the salary like?is it worth going to university for?will i find it more stressful than rewarding?thanks everyone

There are no cons to being a social worker. You have absolute power over working class families and can destroy them at will and you never have to apologise or explain why if you get it wrong.

my dad was a social worker for over 30 years and he loved it i guess it depends on what area you were focusing on. The money was pretty good and he even got an MBE from the queen for his services!

Heard its self satisfying, but it does not pay much. You have to love what you're doing!
