Virginity does not affect your period. Your period comes because of changes in hormones in your body. Sometimes it takes a few years for you menstrual cycle to become normal. If you are concerned, a doctor is the only person who can help you. Young women are sometimes put on birth control pills to regulate their menstrual cycles.

When you first start menstruating it is normal to be irregular for the next few years.

If this continues into your late teens go see a doctor. There might be something wrong. Or your doctor could put you on birth control to help regulate your periods.

That's ok...not sure how old you are, but I went for several months without getting them.....this went on for several years. Are you small in frame?

As long as you are not underweight, and otherwise considered healthy by your doctor....there shouldn't be any problems. My OB/GYN always said it was ok to miss periods and my body still continued to do what it was supposed to do....I was always afraid I wouldn't be able to have a baby.....but as soon as I was ready to, I got pregnant right away, and had a healthy baby.... Don't worry....you're just fine....

You should just let your doctor know. Or your mom (i do not know how old you are).

Sometimes it takes a little help from the doctor to get the cycle regulated.
