I have finished gta3, vice city and liberty city stories, and I haven't cheated at all. I'm about half way through san andreas.
Why cheat for? Why pay hard earned money for a game just to cheat on it?

Define "Cheating". Because some people just know cheap ways around tough missions without actually using cheat codes. But to answer your question under the asumption you mean "button cheats", I have beaten all 3 without the use of cheats but the 2nd time around I always cheat, it's just funner that way. GTA is notorious for fun cheats.

Well I beat a few levels. When I got to the really hard levels I "cheated".

All of them but the PSP ones. Not to 100% though, I don't care that much. I finished SA in like 2 days from the morning I got it (preorder) until the next afternoon or so...
