Yes the baby can hic-up. It's pretty funny to watch you see little bulges in the moms belly

Hic-ups are caused by the diaphragm (the muscle that helps with breathing) having spasms. So it is possible (and happens all the time). It thought to help the baby in-utero strengthen the diaphragm.

Its totaly normal and as time goes on you will love the feeling. It lets you know that the baby is still aliive and moving. Best feeling in the world. Congrats and good luck!

Yes they hiccup all the time infact as your baby grow in you youll be able to tell the difference between hiccups and kicking
they hiccup to excersice there lungs and get them ready for when they are born
its really cool when your baby is born and has hiccups its like a reality check ( you think ...WOW just a few days ago he was hiccuping inside of me)

Absolutely! I felt my baby hicup in my 18th week. At first I thought it was gas but then realized it was the baby. It's kind of comforting when it happens because you know there's a real, live human being growing inside you. Babies who hicup alot inside their mothers tend to continue after they are born. There's no need to worry since it doesn't bother them (although it may bother you).

I believe dudleydo... i'm not that previous and that i will bear in mind my youngest brother having a abdomen band/binder to maintain his abdomen button in. i spotted a three month previous toddler, some days in the past who did not have a abdomen band around his waist and his button protrudes out a splash. i've got faith that this custom of the tummy binder could desire to be introduced decrease back. i'm satisfied my mom grew to become into sensible sufficient to bind mine so it would not stick out.

It's very common. My son did it all the time. At first, it freaked me out, but my doctor told me it was just hiccups, then it was just funny! Nothing to worry about!
