As soon as I click on 'Read Mail' on outlook express, my computer automatically disconnects from the internet....!
Any ideas...??????

When in Outlook Express, click Tools, then Options, then the Connections tab. There will be a box which says "Hang Up After Sending and Receiving". If this has a tick in it, this is probably your problem so un-tick it then click Apply then OK.

the connection settings must be causing a problem
do tools/accounts/mail double click on the mail properties(name)
goto connection and make sure the box is unticked, if it is ticked untick it. apply and ok this will resolve this issue

i am no computer expert but when i get trouble i run two programs i have had from downloads.com they are spy bot and ad aware SE, they always sort my computer out by fixing or removing problems
