I tried to cancel an order, but it was shipped anyhow. It arrived when I was not home, and I was told by the company that shipped the item to refuse the shipment and return to sender. How do I do that with a UPS shipment?

Don't open it and take it to your nearest UPS shipping center.

Take it to the nearest UPS store and tell them you didn't sign for it and want to treat it as refused.
