Some of these people have encountered dogs that are not properly bathed and taken care of, so they've decided that ALL dogs are this way. Like any other phobia, it gets built up in someone's mind until it's blown out of proportion. Regardless, people like this will not touch animals. Their lossl.

i like dogs too and hey that's disgusting to hug or cuddle them and i know that am normal

There is nothing wrong with you or anyone else which may not enjoy touching an animal. Most animals are not properly kept clean, bathed daily, brushed, etc. by their owners.
The Principle to live by is - do no harm to any living thing, or else we might be stepped on in our next life.

does it have to say anything. Hey i like polar bears.... but they would eat me so i say no.
if they are pet owners, i would say it makes them a bad pet owner. but for a regular person who likes animals and just doesnt want to love on em..... there are leverls of love

They are a bit phobic. My mother in law is phobic...will look at my dogs from afar but heaven help her if one of them thouches her.

I am one of those persons. I like dogs, find them cute and lovable but please don't ask me to pet them. They carry germs and fleas, stink, slobber over you, leave hairs all over the house, they stink up your home and furniture. You can smell that a dog lives in the house just by opening the door. And people have the nerve to sleep with them.... YUCK, YUCK, YUCK !!!!!!!!!!
