plz tell me why most men go crazy for ladies in stockings?

The stockings are a show of legs. They attract one's eyes. Then, as one move one's eyes back upward then one heads toward the 'main attraction', which requires some further consideration.
Of course, everything is slower and more considered when one is drunk.
