i have a computer with two places to plug electrical cords,one male and one female,i know one is to plug in computer,i thought the other was to plug monitor into case,but it wont fit,anyone know what this is for.

yeah on old power supplies it has 2 connects
yes 1 for the pc itself and 1 for the monitor the power supplies now have all been changed to 1 since when using the 2 people had their monitors blowing up.

One to connect CPU for power and another to connect monitor to take power from CPU.
