While every woman is different, the creamy mucus you mentioned would usually occur just before and/or just after the egg white mucus. The creamy mucus is more "tacky" than the egg white mucus. Both can leave you with a feeling of wetness. As you get older, you may have less fertile days, so you might miss seeing it. But if you have intercourse every other day during the possible fertile days, you can still get pregnant. Avoid cold medications and drink lots of fluids, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. This can help.

Since females only ovulate once a month, the mucus you are looking for should only appear once a month or so. It's more like a whitish/clearish gooey discharge that will definitely look different than your normal discharge. Not all females get this. You can also chart ovulation by taking your temperature. Basal body temperature raised during ovulation. If none of this works for you try an ovulation detector kit because most females ovulate 14 days after the start of their period but not all females.

thats what it looks like right before ovulation. at the beginning of the month it will not be much, then it changes to milkywhite and increases more and more and then all of a sudden you will see a lot of it and it will start to look thin and stick like egg whites. a way to tell if its ovualtion time is if the mucus will stretch out (a few inches) when you pull it away from your finger or hand. after ovualtion it will be thick/milky for another day or two then will pretty much go away. hope that helps...

OK THIS SOUNDS GROSSSSSSSS BUT HERE IS WHAT I FOUND>>>> yeah it changes due to hormanal balance. and it does get a little gross... BUT this also could be a vaginal infection.... ( some therories point to certian vaginal ( yeast infections ) causing premature labor... I had one of these.....( not knowing it only reflection a year later when the jama infomation came out ) and ended up spending 10 weeks in the hospital due to pre term labor... The information on this "possible LINK " was diagnosed a year later...... but ask the doctor it could be normal .... just hormonal changes like mine was worse inthe 4 and 5th month ... or it could be a yeast infection that you need treatment for,,,, ask the doctor because you may start to believe you have a UTI .... if it makes your urine is cloudy. in the potty... ..... Your mind plays enough tricks on you when your preggo ... you dont need one more... ask your doctor ... yeast infection or normal mucus????

Why don't you people who post these questions ever ask your doctor these questions? Sure it could be a sign you are ovulating. It could also be an indication you have pelvic inflammatory disease or something. Why would you ask a lay person for an 'opinion' which is all they can offer ... OPINIONS ... when a doctor can tell you for sure???
