"Bouncers", or Door Supervisors are not quite in the cretin class. We have to be licensed these days, and these licences can only be obtained by means of training and an exam. Door Supervision is not intended to stop people from enjoying themselves - in fact we exist to enable people to have fun, free from the fear of violent trouble. We are like the filters on your water supply, we allow the good in and filter out the crud.
If people could manage to enjoy themselves without getting totally bladdered and ruined; if they could disport themselves in a manner that does not invoke the contempt of most of society, and if they could remember that the world does not entirely revolve around themselves, then bouncers could be dispensed with. Until the day that humanity can learn, in entirety, to behave with some degree of refinement and finesse, we will continue to lurk and look menacing.

well you are part right, ego maniac mostly but not actually authority figures, more like enforcers. if you do bad things they enforce the code of conduct and bounce you out the door.

good answer from foghorn.....so many fools on the loose these days.....societys biggest enemy is not the goverment, it is the trouble causer....anyone knowingly causing trouble I would gladly chop their f*****g hand off....and thats from someone who likes a couple of Cliff songs!
