Hang up for reuse at least for another day. Change towels every two or three days or so. Helps the environment with less soap into the water supply and less use of water for washing...

I usually hang it up and reuse it a second time then it goes in the hamper. There are 2 adults and 3 kids in my house that's alot of towel.

hang it up and reuse it because after u take a shower u r clean so when u dry yourself with the towel the towel doesnt get dirty so that u could reuse it. But wash it atleast once a week.

I hang it up for air drying (sunlight is better but I got none in my apartment). Sunday is the day for washing towels, sheets. And once a month I wash the rugs in bathroom and kitchen. Doing this saves me time. Washing towels everyday is a waste of time, soap and water. Bad for environment too.

The only exception to the rule is when I am sick. That time, I change the towel even daily if the need be. If I feel I am better today but was sick yesterday then I would change the towel to keep the germs away. Same for sheets too.

We reuse the towels for 2 or 3 showers. Depends on how they smell really and if they are hung properly.

We always reuse since you should be clean out of the shower. Plus seems wasteful to launder every time. In any case, would allow to air dry before putting in the hamper.

Since we presumably exit the shower clean, we always reuse our towels. To reduce laundry, and to promote the all important PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, this is what I've done in my family: Each member has their own personal towel color (a neutral or non-fading shade), and everyone is responsible for hanging up their own towel after they bathe (each bedroom has a towel hanger for this purpose, so individuals wet towels aren't left in the family bathroom.) When their towel(s) needs laundered, they do so with their own load of laundry, sparing the lady of the house (me) from being responsible for ALL THOSE TOWELS!!

I hang it up now but in the summer there isn't the furnace going to dry the towel so the towel smells after one use, even if it's hung up. I laugh when people say it's dirty, you are CLEAN after the shower! Sometimes I wash them after one use depending on if anyone has been sick due to germs. It's wasting water to wash a towel that was used to dry a clean body every day.
