ido you think that the leafs will get back on track and winning again or do you think they'll continue losing bucuz tampa bay have been doin bad too. if there gonna win therer gonna have to play smart hockey. if raycroft or aubin lets in 3 or more goals and there losing i would take him out. also i noticed the fowards arent quick to get bac in there end after and odd man rush or what ever. they did win on tuesday night but i didnt think they played there best.
they should keep coliacovo in the lineup. they were getting really lazy at about the 3 game losing streak but maurice must have done what herb brooks did in the 1980 olympics.

rumors swirling that the leafs are looking to unload either sundin or tucker...
its the leafs, they'll even out. not the year you might expect but i dont think they would get too much worse.

I think the Leafs have too many old players and aren't solid in goal. Decent, but not solid. Sundin is a great player but not what he used to be and without capable wingmen. They should announce a rebuilding phase, get some good young talent in trades and the draft, and sign some servicable free agents that can give them at least 2 or 3 good years. Domi retired, Tucker is getting up there in years, and the game has changed. It is time for most teams to evolve with the game, thats why.....

Well, by now we all know that our team finally WON a game - and beat Tampa Bay. What a excellent game! I really don't agree with what Habitant says about Sundin. He is NOT a one man team - how does one explain that Leafs 7-game slump began the very game Sundin returned from injury?? Tucker is doing excellent and it's about darn time! The whole team just needs a good pep talk and feel good about themselves....and winning will continue.

they need to get rid of andropov from the top line and put wellwood back. then teach kubina how to play defense. the leafs arent a fast team, thats why they get burned alot. i dont get you leaf fans, you were all on the raycroft bandwagon at the beginning of the year, and now that they team struggles, you jump off and say hes **** (generally speaking). same thing with belfour a couple years back. lastly, their PP needs alot of work.

ill tell you what Sundin is trying everything but he never gets the help like Cheechoo got fro Joe Thornton last year, and he has to do everything him self cause the players surounding him just plan sucks, and the goalie doesn't really suck its there defence that sucks worst in the league.

they will come out strong for the rest of the season and make the playoffs this season , but to win the cup they are going to need one or two really fast scorers like Malkin or Ovechkin or someone like Shanahan who finds the net in his sleep .
and of course a top goalie .

Hopefully we get back on the winning trend, but it isn't looking to good right now. This isn't our season, maybe next year.

not great this year for sure need goalie plus a rowdie to put a spark in them like domi 5 yrs ago.
