I love newspaper reading. It feels like an old friend I am sitting and talking to. I can curl in a big armchair and curl up in bed and read to my hearts content. I can get local news and local opinion. I prefer the Washington Post or the Charlotte Observer. Newspapers have comics, (love) and they carry my favorites. I can take my newspaper anywhere I go. Computers are just so damm inpersonal.

I read the newspaper to get the information that i need of what's going around me and all over the world.
This doesn't mean at all that the aime of newspapers is only telling information, in fact, a newspapers must also find solutions for the current situation and try to fix it up.

I check the headlines on yahoo almost every day to get the most up-to-the-minute national news. But you can't beat your local paper for finding out what is going on in your community. I live in a rural area, and our newspaper is for the whole county. I like to know what is going on in our nearby areas and they have a lot of personal interest stories about people who live in our area.
