He did not do this because he believed in it, rather military intelligence had it on a good source that Hitler believed it and they were trying to second guess Hitler's likely resonse to given events. Is this a fact or just a story? References would be appreciaterd.

During World War II, Churchill hired the astrologer Louis de Wohl to predict what Hitler's astrologers would be predicting. It turns out that Hitler hated astrologers, but de Wohl was effective at disinformation, publishing a phony German astrology magazine that featured some incredibly accurate predictions — thanks to the fact that the magazine was dated before but issued after the events in question. It also contained troubling predictions for Hitler and dissuaded the German high command from launching U-boats when Allied ships were at risk.

Wouldn't surprise me, but i don't know for sure. I do know that the Allies used a lot of different tactics, even consulted w/ Occult leaders, because it was rumored that Hitler was interested in these things. You may not be able to find specifics, it may still be classified. I would recommend Wikepedia.

Don't have any references but I have heard that Hitler was a fan of astrology also but wasn't aware of Churchills use though...
