A woman can only get pregnant around her ovulation time because you need an egg cell and sperm cell to become pregnant. Most women but not all, ovulate about 14 days after the start of their period. A woman's most fertile days are three days before ovulation thru three days after ovulation. Sperm can live inside you for up to 7 days. So if you ovulate like 5 days after having sex you can still become pregnant.

The best time would be the midway point of your cycle. This means you would have to count the days of your cycle. Day 1 is your first day to have a period. Then you count from that day to the next Day 1. So for example, the first day of your period last month is July 1st and then you have your period again on July 29, that means you have a 28 day cycle. The midway point is around Day 14 so you best have intercourse a few days before that and then every other day.

But if you want to accurately pinpoint when you ovulate, best that you do an ovulation test. It should be available at your local pharmacy and there's even some sites online that give them for free, like ttckit.com.

Have sex three days before, the day of, and three days after ovulation which usually occurs 14 days after your period. Sperm can last up to five days in the vagina so it makes for better chances. It is usually 10 to 14 days after the first day of your last period.
For me - it is about the 10th day mark.
