My phone seems to work ok when my memory card is not in the phone, although when the card is inserted the phone slows down and it takes ages to go between applications or open music/picture folders.
This started happening after I had used the card in a photo developing machine. Could this have caused a problem with it? Do you think it has some sort of virus? What could I do to sort out the memory card, someone has suggested to put a magnet to the memory card to completly format it, would this work?
The card is a mini sd 2gb made by toshiba.

I had similar probs with the card for my nokia 6260. I reformatted the card (you have that option on your menu) & it all worked fine after that. As formatting will destroy all the stuff you have stored in the card memory you need to check what you need from it & back it up first if you can

virus or your card may be locked to the phone has to use its own internal memory as a scratch disk, or the chip has files which the phone is constantly using
