Key word here.....work........
Do you support him in what he does?
Is his work important to you?

I am truly sorry he will be gone for the Holidays.....anyway you could take a couple of days and vacation at the same time....make it special so he doesn't miss out on everything.Time for the two of you.....I would be thinking in that direction.

I don't think you should be mad at him.....however wonder why such a abrupt decision was made, by him.

Think about past holidays...did he enjoy them or were they bothersome to him? Stressful?

Talk to him....If your 1 1/2 years with him has been good and you see a future together......work with him.

Best wishes
and

Tell him the truth about Missing him....of-course you will...how couldn't you.

If a man just makes a decision like that and has not asked you, then he was not planning on being with you for the longhaul....He was being selfish and there is nothing you can do....Let him go and move on because if he wanted to be with you, he would ask you to go or he would tell you that he will send for you once he get settled....

Good Luck

Mary, dear, it is time to let this man go.

He drinks, he gambles, he cheats, and he is a lousy lover (at the rate he's going, heading for lousier...),

What you feel for him is not Love. There is no trust or respect. He has no loyalty.

Calmly tell him it is time to break up. Find someone worthy of you. It is so worth it.

You should talk to him and tell him how you feel. You have the right to be angry, but ultimately he needs to make his own decisions, and you should be supportive.

Whatever you do, don't let him leave thinking you are angry with him. You will only regret that later!

You don't have to answer him - in fact, you don't have to ever talk to him again. If after a year and a half he doesn't have enough respect for you to talk over such a radical decision - chalk it up to experience, and move on. You will find a new guy soon enough. Good luck.

Yeah, i used to be just like you, and my husband is still like that. Hee Hee, those little bastards just don't know when to quit!
Don't worry about it. he'll never change and you'll never stay...if you're smart at all.
