I have been TTC for 3 months. I am on cycle day 39, 16 DPO. What could cause a "LONG" luteal phase other than luteal cysts? My luteal phase is 14 days with irregular cycles. (My BBT charts look typical, and are very acurate along with EWCM, positive OPK, and cervical position @ CD 22.)

ok, I will rephrase. I am 33 years old TTC (trying to conceive) my 3rd child with my husband. DPO means days past ovulation. OPK means ovulation predictor kit. The only thing that I have found that causes a long luteal phase is a "luteal cyst" which I assume is some kind of Ovarian cyst. Now that I have given a course on abbreviations, maybe someone serious can answer my question. Thanks again.
