aboringinals or natives aare what Canadians should call them, there is none around here though ,but i met some bf.
The only reason they called Indians in the first place is because the early settlers when they first came thought taht they were in the country of India because they thought the peopel looked like the poepel of INdia., But they're not Indians, the name stuck. They're so many differnt kinds of native's too, native's is used to describe the ones who were already here, but there's relaly alot of different names

An 'aboriginal' group is any native population which has been largely supplanted by other groups. It is not a preferred term. It is often used to describe native populations of Canada and Austrailia.
