I am trying to plan a vacation for next Christmas. I want to spend it on the beach sippin margaritas but I was wondering what state is the warmest at that time...also, is it warm enough to swim?

Go to the Florida Keys, cheaper than Hawaii.

Hawaii is warmest, but the margaritas are pulling you to Key West Florida. It's an amazing place. Check out the tarpon fish schooling around the wharf at the end of Duval Street.

It's not a State, but Puerto Rico, part of the US though, is good.
