How old are you? Have you experienced this before? Is there anything going on in your life that may have triggered these feelings? Need lots more info. You may be experiencing pre-menstrual symptoms . Normal- it will subside when you start your period. If you have this feeling for more than a month, you need to tell someone and see a doctor.

Sometimes the holidays will make you depressed. If things haven't worked out this year like you plan you start thinking about where you should be. Just try and be grateful for what you do have because it could always be worse. Surround yourself with people who are positive so you can soak up that positive energy. Everything will be okay just take it one day at a time.

Not without knowing you or your circumstances no.

However, depression in teenagers and young adults is common. There a lot of pressures you are dealing with for the first time (grades, thinking about your future, social concerns, love-life issues, etc) and your body is till trying find a balance with all the new hormones. Also, the holidays are normally hard times for many people, it is stressful for those with large families and lonely for people who don't have families.

If this continues for several days, talk to someone, your parents or a counselor at school. There are also several phone counseling lines if you prefer to talk to someone anonymously.

I have been feeling the same way lately. I am happy at my job, happy at home and doing great with my college classes, but i still feel sad lately, and its not that time of month either. Maybe we are feeling this way because it is Christmas and it tends to be a stressful season. Just think, the new year is almost here, and things can only get better.

I don't know your situation, but I have had this same thing happen to me. Being a woman that is part of the territory, but there are things we can do to counter-act the mood swings. I just started taking vitamins and eating right (veggies & fruits). This has changed my mood dramatically! Sometimes we just get down, but shake it off and try to concentrate on yourself...that's what my mom always says!

Excercise, don't sweat the small stuff and be happy for the things you have in your life!

You have depression, like at least one in ten people. It could be from something going on in your life or it could be just a chemical imbalance in your brain. Get as much exercise as you can. This often helps a lot. Every day at least 45 minutes, such as riding a bike or walking. It works for me.

Hello, Amy try to focus on the positive things in your life think about what's made you have a good day in the past. Try pulling what's made you happy in the past to the days you are depressed. Hope this helps?
